Presently the system for fee regulation is being done through an agreement entered by the colleges with the government annually to fix the seat matrix and fees. The proposed committee would be placing a system to regularize this. In spite of the existence of the Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) Act, 2006, it is yet to be implemented in a period of seven years after its proposal.
